What a Team Is
A team is a social and coordination layer. It grants no stats, no buffs, no combat power — it changes who you can hurt, who you coordinate with, and who you can trust. Nothing on the server ever requires a team; cooperative abilities work on teammates and strangers alike.
Membership
Teams are joined at the account level — one team per account, covering all your characters. There's no founding cost, no membership cap, and invites stay pending until answered or withdrawn.
Roles
| Action | Owner | Manager | Member |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invite a player | Yes | Yes | No |
| Kick a member | Yes | Yes | No |
| Kick or promote a manager | Only | No | No |
| Toggle team friendly-fire | Yes | Yes | No |
| Disband the team | Only | No | No |
Friendly-Fire
Each team has a friendly-fire flag, off by default — meaning teammates cannot damage each other anywhere on the server. To duel a teammate while the shield is up, turn off your own personal PvP toggle; with the shield down between two teammates, normal PvP rules resume. A blocked friendly hit never flags you PvP-vulnerable — no misclick cascades. When protections overlap, the most protective rule wins.
Team Chat
Every team has an in-game chat channel scoped to online teammates. Team management from the companion app — create, invite, roles, friendly-fire — is coming soon.
